Take Action to Protect Nature
Report to the nature and species keeper!
If you have noticed a problem in a protected area (illegal dumping, unauthorized construction, etc.), you can report it here. This form allows you to submit any irregularities or issues observed in the protected areas of Šibenik-Knin County.
Please provide as much detail as possible in your report so that the nature and species keepers can take appropriate action based on your submission.
Contact form is under construction.
Injured or deceased protected animals
If you come across an injured, sick, or deceased protected animal, it is important to respond in a safe and proper manner:
- If the animal is injured, try to provide a calm and secure environment, minimizing stress. Offer basic first aid only if it does not put you or the animal at risk. Contact the nearest wildlife rehabilitation center. Experts will guide you on how to proceed and arrange for the animal’s transfer. At the rehabilitation center, the animal will receive veterinary care and once recovered, will be released back into the wild. A list of official rehabilitation centers is available on the Ministry of Environment and Green Transition website.
-
If you find a strictly protected wild animal that has been accidentally captured, injured, sick, or deceased, you must report the finding to the Ministry as follows:
Scan the QR code if you find any dead, injured, or sick wild and strictly protected species to report your sighting!
